Terms of use
Last updated 17 September 2026. Plain language for WeldSpeak, a WeldSuite product.
The service
WeldSpeak is push-to-talk dictation software: a desktop app for Windows and macOS, a web sign-in and dashboard, and cloud recognition and cleanup. By using it you agree to these terms.
Accounts
You need an account (via Clerk, shared with WeldSuite where applicable). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping device approvals under your control. Organization admins manage shared glossary terms and retention settings for their crew.
Acceptable use
Use WeldSpeak for legitimate dictation into apps you are allowed to use. Do not abuse the service, attempt to probe or disrupt infrastructure, scrape or reverse-engineer models beyond normal product use, or use WeldSpeak to violate law or others' rights. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Plans and billing
Paid WeldSpeak Pro subscriptions are billed per person through Stripe (monthly or annual). Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If your organization already has a WeldSuite package that includes WeldSpeak, you do not need a separate WeldSpeak subscription.
Your content
Audio you stream and text produced for you remain yours. You grant us a limited license to process that audio and text solely to provide recognition, cleanup, glossary features, and (when your org enables it) transcript history. See the privacy page for details.
Availability
WeldSpeak requires network access to Cloudflare Workers AI for recognition and cleanup. We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change as the product evolves.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is." Dictation is probabilistic; verify critical text before you rely on it. To the fullest extent allowed by law, WeldSuite is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of WeldSpeak. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for WeldSpeak in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a posted change means you accept the new terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
